What the map is
Gray-Scott has only two free parameters: the CSTR feed rate f and the conversion rate k — the f in B's removal term (k+f) is the same flow washing everything out. Patterns hug the saddle-node boundary k = √f∕2 − f, so the map warps k around that edge (dashed): the whole selector is usable pattern territory instead of a thin curved sliver.
Stops
Click the ramp to add a stop, drag to move it, and pick its colour below. Up to sixteen stops; the end two are pinned to 0 and 1. Edits go straight into the field.

Everything the panel controls — both pattern points, every slider, the palette and the render toggles — stored in this browser. Resolution is left out; it is a cost choice, not part of the look.
Camera link
An OAK-D depth camera drives the simulation: its depth, IMU and colour streams map onto pattern, flow and palette. Start the streamer first — uv run oakd-streamer --streams depth,imu,color,telemetry in oak-d/ — then connect.

Run RD Lab as its own app — a standalone window that also works offline.
MIDI mapping
Bind hardware knobs and pads to the controls (Web MIDI — Chrome/Edge). Turn on MIDI, click a slider or a dock button, then move a knob or hit a pad to bind it. Batch walks every control in order; Esc skips one. Bindings save in this browser.
